OPEC Annual Meeting
Schedule & Agenda:
Participants should plan to arrive to the Grants Pass area the evening of Sunday, June 16. A full day of Annual Meeting sessions will commence on Monday, June 17 - largely outdoors and under the beautiful canopy of the Enchanted Forest.
Session topics will include an update on Oregon's new Certified Burn Manager program, successful cross-boundary burning mechanisms, discussion and demos of prescribed fire technological tools, important federal policy updates, and more. The day will close with a salmon bake dinner and socializing under the stars.
Tuesday, June 18 will consist of a half-day of field visits to burn project sites in the Grants Pass area before participants disperse for home. Final agenda details to come!

Camp Millennium Relay Race
68-mile, 5 person running team or 24-mile, 4 person walking team. Staggered start depending on predicted finishing time. The slowest running teams (or those who want to get more value for money) will start at 6AM. Runners start at KPIC-TV parking lot in Roseburg, walkers start in Laverne Park, Coquille. The race ends at the Coos History Museum (1210 N. Front St., Coos Bay).
Who says running is a lonely sport? Grab four friends and start cheering!
Proceeds benefit Camp Millennium, dedicated to providing outdoor recreation activities to kids with cancer.
Roseburg to Coos Bay Race Day
Event: 68 mile running relay
5-person running team. Team Captain signs the team up and pays the fee for the team.
Starting time varies depending on anticipated team finishing time. Slowest teams start earliest.
